BSE in cattle: DVD of clinical signs

VLA has produced a DVD to show the clinical signs of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) which may aid in the clinical diagnosis of the disease.

As well as clinical signs the DVD also include three case histories that displayed BSE-like signs but a different neurological disease was diagnosed.

VLA is the World Organisation Animal Health (OIE) Reference Laboratory for scrapie and BSE, and the Community Reference Laboratory (CRL) for Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies.
